Chemical-free farm-grown Angelica (Angelica archangelica) seeds for organic growing.
All seed varieties are grown at our farm, Fireweed, or gathered sustainably from the near by wilds. We gather, process, and package every seed variety we carry ourselves with love and care in small batches. We never import seeds to sell to you. All of our varieties are open-pollinated, grown without the use of chemicals, hybrid-free and GMO-free.

Umbelliferae (Carrot Family)
Biennial, or short lived perennial.
Large plants grow to 6ft tall in bloom, which happens in the second or third year. Large seed umbels form after blooming.
Full sun to shade. Prefers moist hummusy or clay soils.
Seeds germinate best when direct sown in fall. They can also be direct sown in early spring, or started in flats indoors in spring.
Little to no care needed. You may wish to cut the flower stalks back after flowering to prevent self-seeding.
The root can be harvested in the fall of the first year, the stalks in the spring of the second, and the seeds in the summer of the second year.
Popular flavouring for confectionery and liqueurs.
Used medicinally to aid digestion, and for colds and coughs.
