Habit
2ft tall in bloom. Tiny white, sometimes reddish, fragrant flowers have delicate 'fringed' petals.

Woodland plant of the PNW. Prefers moist soil and partial shade.

Seeds can be direct sown in fall or spring, or started in flats indoors in spring.

Growing/Care
Plants are semi-evergreen in mild climates. The flower stalks can be removed after flowering.

Medicinal Uses
Traditionally made into a tea to help improve appetite. Contains anti-viral constituents.  

It is said that Fringecup is eaten by woodland elves to improve their night vision.
