Chemical-free farm-grown Great Blue Lobelia (Lobelia siphilitica) seeds for organic growing.

We gather, process, and package every seed variety we carry ourselves with love and care in small batches. We never purchase seeds from outside sources to resell to you. Life Cycle

Hardiness Zone

To 3ft tall and 2ft wide. Showy blue flowers on sturdy flower spikes. Blooms August to October. A good plant to attract beneficial insects. 

Prefers moist to soggy soil, and a semi-shaded location.

Seeds germinate easily and can be direct sown in fall or spring, or started in flats in the spring and then transplanted. 

Plants can be cut back in fall time. Needs regular watering during the growing season.

Used traditionally by indigenous groups of eastern North America for the treatment of infections.
