Habit
True native version, not as showy as the cultivated versions, but wild and beautiful. Rich golden flowers with red centres are 3” across and have a soft velvety appearance. Plants grow to about 2ft high and 1ft wide.

Full sun to part sun, will tolerate most soil types.

Germination/Sowing
Seeds germinate most successfully when direct sown in fall. Can also be started in spring.

Growing/Care
Blanket Flower is a low maintenance plant. It is tolerant of both drought and overly moist soil. Plants can be cut back after flowering,
