To 11ft tall with large dinner plate sized yellow flowers with dark centres.

Full sun, regular garden soil. Drought tolerant once established.

Seeds can be direct sown as soon as soil warms in spring, if transplanting do so with care to not stunt the plants.

Growing/Care
Sunflowers often need staking in windy areas. Water regularly in spring to get plants established.

Harvesting
Seed can be harvested once the flowers turn yellow/brown and seeds are dry and firm.

Seeds are small but edible.
