Habit
Large plants grow from 4-6ft tall with feathery leaves and sturdy branching stems. Flowers in shades of pink, magenta, and white, bloom prolifically from summer through until first frost.

Sun/Soil
Full to part sun, well-drained soil.

Germination/Sowing
Seeds germinate best when started in flats in the spring and then transplanted out once soil has warmed and all danger of frost has passed. 

Growing/Care
Low maintenance. Water during very dry periods.

Harvesting
Flowers can be harvested as they open for culinary use, or for cut flower arrangements.

Culinary Uses
Flowers are edible.

Medicinal Uses
Not commonly used but may have antioxidant properties and other medicinal properties.
